Residencial Marbella is only 600 meters (less than half a mile) from the beautiful Caribbean beach. About the same distance to the highway that leads to Cancun in the north and Tulum in the south.

The subdivision is located 5 kilometers (3 miles) to the north of the booming vacation city of Playa del Carmen, which is right in the heart of the Riviera Maya and only 65 kilometers (50 miles) south of famous Cancun.

The Mayan Riviera coast stretches approximately 140 kilometers (89 miles) along the Caribbean Sea. Situated in the State of Quintana Roo, it extends from the coastal town of Puerto Morelos north of Playa del Carmen all the way south to Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The climate of the area is close to perfect with 300 days of sunshine and a temperature that averages 23°C/73°F year round.

Playa del Carmen is the largest city along the Mayan Riviera with an estimated 200,000 people. Playa, as it is called by locals, used to be a sleepy fishing village only 15 years ago until it was discovered in the 1990's. Since then, its rapid growth has earned it the reputation of being the fastest growing city in Latin America.

Unlike the Resort City of Cancun, where towering all-inclusive hotels prevail along a 27-kilometer stretch of land, Playa has evolved its own unique identity. Construction is limited to 4 stories height, and there is a vibrant, international community offering an eclectic mix of restaurants and shopping to fit anyone's budget.
